Problem

Aerial firefighting still depends on how suppressant leaves the aircraft. This attachment is a helicopter-mounted system: electrostatic nozzles so the fluid charges and wets fuel, and a Bluetooth control path so the operator is not wired into the payload. Fire prevention is the physical problem. The hardware is the job.

What I Built

Full mechanical, electrical, and firmware design of the attachment: nozzle system, power and control electronics, and the Bluetooth interface. Patent WO2024/261364 A1.

Hard Part

The constraints that actually mattered were mechanical (vibration, weight, hardpoint), electrical (high-voltage electrostatics next to avionics-adjacent electronics), and a control link that has to stay reliable.

Result

Prototype hardware. Patent WO2024/261364 A1 (PCT). No public drop-rate or coverage figures on this page.
