Problem

Home hydroponics that still needs manual watering and light schedules. The brief was an automated system: watering and light cycles on a custom PCB, designed so the piece could move from a university concept toward something manufacturable.

What I Built

PCB design, industrial design / 3D modeling, and design-for-manufacturing from concept to an assembled prototype. Grow lighting and watering cycles driven by the board rather than a bench timer.

Hard Part

On this class of product the usual constraints are fluid path reliability, thermal and light uniformity, and a board that survives humidity.

Result

Assembled prototype and product renders. No public yield or growth-rate claims on this page.
