Problem
An 8S2P LiFePO4 pack a BMS would not let back into service. The question was whether the cells were recoverable with a controlled, staged charge.
What I Built
BMS bypass for recovery (lab only, not a field mod), cell-level attention, and staged CC/CV instead of charging the pack as one voltage.
Hard Part
Pack recovery is cell imbalance, a BMS that will not close, and not treating 8S as one cell. Exact voltages stay off this page until I have notes I trust.
Result
Recovery procedure in progress. No capacity claim here.
